Duct Repair: The ducting in your HVAC system distributes warm and cold air to the various rooms in your home. Ducting is typically metal that is formed to fit your system's requirement for volume of air to be moved. The joints of the ducting are usually sealed with duct tape of one kind or another. If your HVAC system seems to pushing less air, or air of the wrong temperature, it might mean that the joints have begun to leak. That allows less air to pass through and also pulls in air of a different temperature from outside the duct.

Ducting is usually insulated with fiberglass or some other material so heat and coolness are not lost through the metal ducting. The longer the run of ducting to the rooms in your home, the greater the chance of losing the desired air temperature.

HVAC System Installation: Like any mechanical device, sooner or later your system could fail. Maybe it's because your HVAC system is very old or because a component failed. In older, obsolete units, parts are not always available anymore. It could be time to replace the whole unit.

Another reason to replace an HVAC system is because you need more air volume. For example, you might need more air flow if you added another room to your home.

Norse Heating and Air can help you analyze your needs and get you started in the right direction. Call Joe at 541-971-1047 for quick, efficient, and friendly service.
